Making sure each team member has the same goal for your project is the biggest issue. Keep communication lines open and don't be afraid to ask questions. This way everyone is on the same page for the whole project.
Stick your deadlines that have been decided upon by the whole team. This makes sure that there's less tension within the group. We used Whatsapp to communicate almost daily while Trello was our shared caldendar/diary to make sure that everyone had clear objectives and deadlines.
Remember that you are spending a full semester with your group, there isn't any team changes, so make sure that there is a good relationship between everyone of your team
